SUPERB, RARE AND IMPORTANT “AUTOGLOCKENPOLYPHON”
This amazing coin operated instrument has a wonderful tone, and is an outstandingly good example of the very rare and impressive autochange Polyphon Style 5K. There are 118 teeth in the music combs plus sixteen orchestra bells. The “K” stands for “klangplatten”, the German word for the bar type orchestra bells The rack at the bottom of the case holds ten music discs 22½” (56cm) in diameter, which can be selected at will by moving a lever on the front of the instrument until a pointer indicates the name of the desired tune on one of the ten program cards displayed. The only other example of this model we have seen was given the name “autoglockenpolyphon” by its owner, the late Bruce Angrave, and was featured in the radio serial “The Archers”, being restored for The Bull public house by Walter Gabriel. The very attractive walnut case is complete with its original pediment. This instrument has been restored to perfection, and is currently performing at The World of Mechanical Music at a very reasonable asking price for such a rare and superb instrument

TABLE POLYPHON DISC MUSICAL BOX
Style 42N with 77 teeth in the music comb, the serial number 64232 stamped on the sovereign gold painted ribbed steel bed plate, in excellent condition having been fully overhauled by our own world famous team of craftsmen,, contained in a walnut veneered case, the lid contains a floral marquetry design in coloured woods, with the Polyphon print of cherubs underneath. Made in the Polyphon Music Works in Leipzig circa 1895, and one of their most popular instruments.
Price is inclusive of thirty good discs each measuring 39.8cm or 15½ inches in diameter.

RARE FORTUNA DISC ORCHESTRION, 118 TEETH IN 2 COMBS PLUS ORGAN, DRUM AND TRIANGLE.
Fortuna upright coin operated disc orchestrion, model number 370 “The Marvel” with 118 broad teeth in the two music combs accompanied by a 14 reed organ, a snare drum and triangle. It uses 65 cm diameter discs of which three are included (listed below). (25 3/4 inch). Zimmerman of Leipzig made it circa 1900. It is said to have a superb tone when in full working order.

At present, the drum and triangle are missing, and there are no discs with the instrument. However, our internationally famous workshops have the capacity to make replacements for the missing parts and restore the instrument to perfection including the case. We can also supply new discs for this instrument, and we can manufacture an authentic reproduction disc bin of the correct pattern for it to stand on, as well as an authentic reproduction pediment.

POLYPHON TABLE MODEL STYLE 45, “SUBLIME HARMONY PICCOLO”.
Polyphon table model style 45 with 156 teeth arranged in two combs, the "Sublime Harmony Piccolo" model is one of the most beautiful table Polyphons made. The lower comb is under an ornately printed metal cover. The musical movement is contained in a walnut case with a disc draw underneath. The front is quarter veneered; there is a marquerty design in coloured woods of musical trophies on the paneled lid; and there are turned moldings at the corners. This is an early case style as depicted in the 1895 Polyphon catalogue.
The Instrument stands on a beautiful matching walnut cupboard, with the door quarter veneered to match. The mechanism of this Instrument has been fully overhauled and is playing beautifully.
The cupboard contains thirty discs, each 153⁄4 inches (40cm) diameter, and more discs are readily available.
